Man Scales 3-Story Building to Save Neighbor

A Spiderman-like man scaled a 3 story wall to save his neighbor from a blazing fire and more.

Hey there HapiFriends! Time to celebrate a day of discovery≠

On March 22nd, 1895, the Lumière brothers, Auguste and Louis, held their first private screening of motion pictures in Paris, forever changing the world of entertainment. Their invention, the cinematograph, combined the camera, printer, and projector in one device, paving the way for the modern film industry.

The Lumière brothers' innovation brought stories to life, inspiring and connecting audiences through the magic of cinema. Without it, we would have no blockbusters like Top Gun Maverick or Avatar (both great movies by the way).

Anyway, let's dive into some uplifting news stories from around the world! 👇

Quote of the Day 🗣

"True happiness is found in the smallest of moments, not in the grandest of gestures."

In a courageous act in Colorado Springs, Dewey Parker scaled three stories to save a neighbor suffering from an asthma attack during an apartment building fire. Upon noticing the man's difficulty in breathing, Parker's adrenaline surged, and he decided to climb up the balconies to unlock the door and help the neighbor.

Firefighters managed to get the blaze under control, which affected two apartments and displaced eight people and five animals. Fortunately, no one else was harmed, and thanks to Parker's intervention, the man experiencing the asthma attack is expected to recover. Parker, reflecting on his selfless act, said, "I just figured, if that was me, I would hope someone would have done the same thing."
