Mornin’ friends! It's National Spinach Day!
It’s a day devoted to Popeye's favorite leafy green fuel! Spinach, the mighty veggie that gave our cartoon sailor the strength to conquer any challenge, is not only a powerhouse of nutrients but also a source of inspiration and fun.

So, maybe take some time to make yourself a salad or smoothie or sandwich with this leafy green veggie. And if you don’t we’re not judging!
Anyway, let’s get into some good news stories from around the world! 👇

Quote of the Day 🗣
"Love is a force more formidable than any other. It is invisible—it cannot be seen or measured, yet it is powerful enough to transform you in a moment, and offer you more joy than any material possession could."

Wenjing Cao and her son Hefei Liu are celebrating their acceptance into residency programs on Match Day. Wenjing, a research scientist at the University of Kansas, graduated from medical school in China and practiced internal medicine for ten years before immigrating to the US. Hefei is a current student at the Medical College of Wisconsin and is expected to graduate this May. They both matched with residency programs, Wenjing with the clinical pathology residency program at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and Hefei with the radiation oncology residency program at the University of Pennsylvania..
The mother-son duo did not plan to apply to residencies together, but when Wenjing decided to return to medicine and reapplied for a second time last year, it became a reality. They said they’re proud of each other’s achievements and hope to inspire others with their unique journeys. Wenjing hopes her story can encourage others like her to pursue their dreams, and Hefei advises supporting family members who have obstacles in their lives but want to pursue their dreams.

In honor of National Spinach Day, let’s talk about Clean Plates! 🥬

Clean Plates is a FREE newsletter sharing delicious recipes, shopping guides, and expert advice with over 500,000 readers! Here’s their 3-part motto:
Healthy eating is personal... Just because your mother-in-law is #teampaleo, does not mean it's right for you. Clean Plates will help you figure out what is.
But some things are universal. “Eat more sugar,” said no one ever. Everyone can benefit from eating more whole foods and less junk food. Clean Plates will help you figure out how (it'll be fun, we swear!).
Mindset matters. Food is meant to be enjoyed. Clean Plates will help you build a relationship with food that's full of joy and free from guilt, confusion, and anxiety.
