Man’s Quick Thinking Saves Two Lives 🚨

A man stranded on a remote, snowbound road in the Willamette National Forest in Oregon found a unique way to call for help after becoming stuck in the snow without cell service. Unable to call 911 and with his family out of the country, the driver attached his phone to a drone, typed a text message describing his situation and exact location, and launched the drone several hundred feet into the air.

The increased elevation allowed the man's phone to connect to a cell tower and fire off the life-saving message, which resulted in search and rescue teams being sent to track him down. In addition to rescuing the quick-thinking driver, the search and rescue officials found and saved another person who had been stuck in the snow for several days.

The technology is meant to be used alongside doctors.

🔦 Hidden corridor discovered in Great Pyramid of Giza

A hidden corridor near the main entrance of the Great Pyramid of Giza has been discovered using non-invasive technology, which could provide insight into the pyramid's construction. The corridor is thought to have been created to redistribute the pyramid's weight. Further scanning will be carried out to determine what lies at the end of the corridor.

😇 An act of kindness leads to a great friendship

Jason Boudreaux’s card was declined at the grocery store. Kevin Jones saw he needed help and paid for his $30 grocery bill. Jason intended to pay Kevin back but didn't get his contact information at the time. He posted on Facebook about it and after the post went viral, a mutual friend connected the two. Jason and Kevin have since become “brothers.”
