Two people were taken to a nearby hospital for minor injuries. Thomas Walsh, a military veteran and sous chef at Phillip's Seafood Restaurant, was at the restaurant on his day off when the incident occurred. He is one of Dylan Walsh's five children and one of two he shares with his first wife, Melora Walters.

Reviving Cultural and Spiritual Ties for the Yuchi Tribe of Oklahoma š¦¬

The Yuchi Tribe of Oklahoma recently received five bison from Denver, reconnecting with the animals after nearly 200 years. These bison, from Denver's conservation herds, will be used to establish a new herd and reestablish a spiritual bond with the Yuchi people. The tribe is among several Native American tribes receiving bison as part of a broader effort to return stewardship to Indigenous peoples.
The bison play a significant role in Yuchi culture, especially in the Green Corn Ceremony, which includes a dance to honor the relationship between the people and the animals. The Yuchi Language Project has helped the tribe reconnect with the land, plants, and animals, emphasizing the importance of Indigenous spiritual connections to the natural world.
